Gavin Murphy
Gavin Murphy, our Financial Services Manager, has over 10 years experience in Financial Services, having worked in the UK and Guernsey. He has passed both the Certificate and Diploma in Financial Planning and is currently studying to become a Certified Financial Planner. A keen thinker, Gavin has a particular passion for investment and demonstrated his prowess in 2009 when finishing 24th out of 7,500 UK investment professionals when his portfolio returned over 69% total return in a competition operated by JP Morgan Asset Management.
One of Gavin’s main objectives is to produce innovative research and reports for the professional sports people market. He has a solid understanding of the French and New Zealand tax systems and is the main point of contact for many of our sports related clients.
Outside of finance, Gavin enjoys most sports including football, rugby, cricket, tennis and NFL. For his sins he supports Tottenham Hotspur and the Cardiff Blues. He also enjoys live comedy and reading autobiographies.
